Ideal for highly sensitive environments, the color devices (TASKalfa 255c/205c) are powered by 1GB of Random Access Memory (RAM) and the monochrome devices (TASKalfa 305/255) are powered by a standard 512MB of (RAM) so there is no hard disk drive that can be breached by unauthorized personnel. Once the device is turned off, all resident data is eliminated. Utilizing Kyocera’s software tools administrators can easily manage and track these devices across their network.

SMARTtech MFPs can be configured with Kyocera's Card Authentication solution to limit local access to the device using HID/Proximity Card technology.

Administrators and compliance officers can integrate all of the SMARTtech devices, the TASKalfa 255c/205c and the TASKalfa 305/255, with an organization's active directory, further assuring that only personnel with proper access credentials can utilize the MFPs.
