KYOCERA Document Solutions America Takes Top Prize in Industry’s Most Dynamic Category: Best A4 Manufacturer

The Cannata Report recognizes 2016’s leading manufacturers and industry executives at annual charity event; makes generous donation to cancer research and treatment.

FAIRFIELD, N.J. – October 20, 2016 – KYOCERA Document Solutions America, one of the world’s leading document solutions companies, today announced that it has been named 2016 Best A4 Manufacturer at the Cannata Report’s 31st Annual Awards & Charities Dinner at the Westminster Hotel in Livingston, NJ.

The Cannata Report awards – “The Franks” to industry insiders – are determined by a survey of nearly 300 independent dealers, critical partners for every document imaging manufacturer.

“The dealers gave Kyocera a 4.6 out of a possible 5.0,” said Frank G. Cannata, CEO of The Cannata Report. “That’s an extremely impressive score, leading all manufacturers in the A4 category.”

A4 is a category of compact, small-footprint MFPs that are able to handle letter and legal paper sizes that represent the majority of printing for most companies. A4s have been a top priority for Kyocera, which introduced its industry-acclaimed TASKalfa 406ci line earlier this year, and the ECOSYS M5526cdw and ECOSYS M5521cdw earlier this month.

“It is a tremendous honor to receive this award from The Cannata Report,” said Yukio Ikeda, President and CEO of KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “It’s especially gratifying for our A4 devices to be recognized by the independent dealer community.”

The Cannata Report: “Above and Beyond”

The Cannata Report, a leading resource for the independent dealer channel, holds its annual event both to acknowledge the industry’s most outstanding accomplishments and to support the charitable efforts of some of the country’s most deserving organizations.

This year’s proceeds benefited the Jackie Ritschel Memorial Endowment for Cancer Research and Treatment at Hackensack University Medical Center. Antonio Pierce – former New York Giants linebacker, Super Bowl XLII champion, and 2007 United Way Man of the Year – delivered the keynote address.

“The Cannata Organization goes above and beyond,” said Ed Bialecki, Senior Vice President, Sales, for KYOCERA Document Solutions America. “To Frank, Carol, CJ, and everyone at The Cannata Report, we say thank you for making a difference.”
